I just wonder if Reds boss Brendan Rodgers might have a couple of dilemmas, though. Firstly whether Joe Allen and Lucas can play together in a 4-3-3.

Do they really need both of them in their midfield? With Lucas you can play Steven Gerrard and Jose Enrique either side of him, and give you a really nice balance going forward.

That'll be the same Jose Enrique that's out for six weeks and, when played out of position, has appeared as a forward, not a central midfielder?
