For me it would be Bolo off, JP on, and if things didnt get any better with Speedy, it would be him off Warnock on and Riise pushing on.

How do you control the game with 40% possession. They've had the better chances and Henry looks up for it. Doesn't bode well for the second half

Absolutely disagree, look at that first half again if you get the chance (i know i'd rather not) there's absolutely acres of space in front of Clichy? and we aren't playing a wide right player. Gerrard is playing more in the middle, and Kuyt should be in the middle, not trying to pull right which obviously isn't working.

I wouldn't normally advocate it, but Pennant on the right would cause them problems.

All those saying Gerrard is wasted out on the right, how come he played well out there last season?
Sometimes i feel people are just making excuses for his poor form.

He gets plenty of plaudits when he's playing well, he deserves a bit of stick when he's not playing well, like at present.

This is a slight misconception.

He did play well on the right last season, setting up a lot and scoring, BUT as Richard Keys said before, he also played in the middle a lot (especially in the first half of the season) and scored a lot of his goals from this position

Well...I'd have released Zenden straight away. Gone to the tactics section, selected my pre-done finely tuned 4-2-3-1 tactic, and kicked the ****ing crap out of the Gooners!

i'm not saying we were controlling the game but we were still in up until the goal and had put them under a bit of pressure.
