Also, not the best game to labelise our defence with considering 4 out of the 5 of them are not first teamers. I would play Reina, Johnson, Agger, Skrtel and Enrique.

We played some great attacking football last season at times. Its amazing how people forget.

Again, I'm not one for stats. They can 'do one' too. I'm just saying what I see and how I feel about the team as a whole and their stronger mentality. We're in a better position than we were last season, retaining our best players while getting rid of the dross. Still need to get rid of a few more mind.

The performance and attitude of the players was a disgrace. But I don't see it as defining our season and as final judgment on players and manager. Just don't see that at all

It is gutting. Problem is we have quite a few younger players who just seem to think we can turn up and win these games. Did the same against Villa and got slapped. It's unacceptable but part of the learning process I think

But, it's a managers job to have the players ready to play, and if they aint that good, atleast have them ready to fight and give their all.

It is disappointing. I said before half-time that we'd lose that game. And that is pretty unacceptable to have that feeling when playing Oldham.

Not averse to criticising the manager. He probably should have replaced Coates with Carragher for the 2nd half if not before.

In all honesty I was pretty excited when saw our front 4 before the game. But a lot of them just didn't turn up and that is a disgrace. Of course the manager has to take some of the blame

I disagree. Thats where a balanced point of view comes in. If we play well, I'll say so, if we're poor I'll say so. I would however admit that I've not fallen for the lie that is Brendan Rogers, I can see he's stark naked. We're lightweight, we can't defend and he's an egotistical maniac and employed by people who know nothing about football, and really have no interest.

On the plus side, we have some technically gifted players. If we had the right man in, and a decent back four, we'd be in the top 4 without a shadow of a doubt, imo.

I really want to have total faith in BR, because not being able to compete financially means we need a smarter manager than our wealthy rivals going forward.

I so hope he's that man.
