I think he had faith in Rodgers as he has always backed him unlike Phils previous managers. I think there will be players happy with the removal of Rodgers and those not. I don't know where Phil falls, but I think the reality is that with success Phil will be convinced to stay, without it he will leave.Originally posted by Maxiedge View PostLet's not beat around the bush here, if Rodgers was still in charge this guy would 100% be gone in the summer, maybe even January.
I think whoever had been boss though he'd have been here until at least end of next season. So hopefully by end of next season we will be in the CL and shown him and others that we are ready to compete for trophies.Forwards.......

There's only so long goodwill and faith last. It was clear from his body language he wanted out. Sorry no chance he would have stayed to end of next season.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostI think he had faith in Rodgers as he has always backed him unlike Phils previous managers. Also, Ballague knows his stuff, contrary to what people think and he reckons klopp needs to change his mind.

Ballague knows nothing about Liverpool since Rafa left. It's pure guess work on his part. As usual though it's an educated guess on his park, he doesn't chuck random stuff out there. If his team mates in the Brazil squad are talking him up for a move it's worth a gamble to say Phil needs some convincing to stay.Originally posted by Maxiedge View PostThere's only so long goodwill and faith last. it will be very interesting to see Coutinho play under Klopp. Is he the type of manager that will get the best out of little Philly??
It's hard to say but in reality Phil does work hard on the pitch. Granted he isn't a Henderson who doesn't stop running but he isn't adverse to pressing, running and working hard either.
If Coutinho is going to be the #10 for Klopp though, then he will need to find his shooting boots.

Nah. Not any more so than any other agent anyway. He was the fella that was involved in the Tevez transder and 3rd party ownership is relatively common in some parts of the worldOriginally posted by The_weatherman View PostFFS Kia, isnt he a dodgy fella?Football without Origi is nothing

He certainly did when they moved to West Ham and was still with Tevez when he went to City.
