Not sure that we would do that, but if we are signing Lamar then I would imagine that Coutinho will be leaving at some point before the close of next summer's transfer window.

Agreeing a fee now for a sale in a years time doesn't really make sense if there is no release clause, look at what the market has done this last year, it'd be foolish IMO to agree a fee now when he could be worth 30-50% more in next summer's market.

That makes sense. On the otherhand the market could crash and how many other clubs can pay that kind of money.
