I dont think we get much from him when he plays wider but when he has had the chances centrally he hasn't performed. Last season he was slipping lovely passes between the centre backs and full backs this season he gets into those positions but just can't find the right pass.

Serious? He's been below par but still influencing games.

He's caught in that horrible mindset where he's forcing everything. Few times today he tried the killer pass which didn't come off and you could see the head and shoulders drop. He's putting in the workload but just needs to play the simple ball more and the confidence will come back.

Such a talented guy but really hasn't happened for him this season. Agree with the wider position not suiting him either & is a bit of a dilemma for us.

I love him to death and hes going to be a huge player for us over the coming years, especially for CL games, but I also agree he probably needs a couple games out to sort himself

It's not a bad thing either he's young and at his age his form will go up and down. Need to patient (a trait LFC fans are well known for ). He will come good at some point this season and could make all the difference.

An possible solution is if we played Stevie in that forward role that Coutinho occupies and bring him on around the 60 min mark when Stevie starts to tire it'll be better for both players as he can work himself back into form without the constant spotlight? He still is a young lad which we sometimes forget.That however means we go out and buy a DM.......

He was also given the chance to play from the start. He's not been brilliant but as already said sometimes footballers need confidence, having a good game today will have helped with that.

Quite frankly the attitude I see from a lot of fans these days today's the team/ players is disgraceful

Yup, certainly an option. Midfield is a real problem at the moment for us Lucas out and Allen also out leaves us pretty light there
