Nice to have him back soon Would rather see them both together obviously!
Last season he wasn't the prime concern for our opponents, that was Suarez. Now he's the focus and he's showing some signs of weakness. If beating us is as simple as kicking Coutinho out of the game then we have a serious problem.

We're getting away from an over reliance on one player and we have to deal with this and move on. There are other options for the No 10 against Soton - Gerrard, Henderson, Aspas, Moses perhaps and even Allen. After that I think it's obvious that Suarez will occupy that spot as long as Sturridge is fit. 3 from Sterling, Suarez, Aspas, Alberto, Ibe, Henderson and Moses gives loads of choice. Lots of choice and lots of permutations to keep our opponents guessing. We'll be fine

We had trouble adjusting mid-game, that's all. When we set up without him from the start then the players will adapt accordingly. Don't panic!

I think Coutinho being injured should be okay if you look at our league fixtures. After Southampton this weekend, we will have Luis back - and hopefully he and Sturridge can form a tasty partnership again....

Against Southampton, I would be happy enough to see:

                  ------------------MIGNOLET-------------------

                  WISDOM------TOURE-----AGGER-------ENRIQUE

                  ---------GERRARD---------LUCAS--------------

                  STERLING---------HENDERSON---------MOSES

                  ----------------STURRIDGE-------------------

And then after that possibly swap Sterling for Suarez....

I am hoping that Suarez comes back with something to prove and hits the ground running with controlled agression and determination to prove that he is the best player in the league. I think he will.

In November, it would be great if Coutinho came back and had to settle for a place on the bench initially......

I reckon the Moses signing could turn out to be a masterstroke (although i feel this is likely to be offset against the Aspas signing being a fockin car crash!) I just wish we had an option to buy Victor.... i have a horrible feeling that he will do well, be worth £20m and we will end up selling Suarez to Chelsea with Moses in part-ex....

This run of fixtures includes teams we typically underperform against. He will be missed, can't disguise it..

Picking up too many early season injuries for my liking. Hard enough to be competitive without continually losing good players for periods of time.

I don't think beating us is that easy, but Coutinho helps those around him. He's a proper team player.

I agree we will be fine though

It might look like he's not as effective as last season but he's always crowded out instantly now by a few players. Similar to how Alonso was when we first got him. But he's still frustrating the opponents each game and drawing people away to make holes in the field. Just to give an idea of how much he was doing for us, once he came off and Aspas came on Swansea was all over us. Got to show he must of been doing quite a bit.

Besides I think its not about stopping him thats going to be a problem. Once him and Suarez are both on the field, the other team is going to have a nightmare tryng to stop BOTH of them. Wont happen. Both on the field is what we need. We'll absolutely hammer anyone stupid with them.

**** news. Southampton is gonna be tough, no Luis, no Coutinho and Sturridge despite his amazing run looks about 50% fit. Should be ok after that, got good options when Suarez is back. Kinda feels like we are in for one of them seasons where we never get our best 11 on the pitch mind!
