Someone in the match thread mentioned that he may have contributed to his own injury by the way he went down, and having watched it again I think they may have a point. Williams left his foot hanging and had coutinho run into it he would probably have been ok but he jumped out of the way and hurt himself when he landed.
Doesn't stop Williams from being a ****house though.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Aye.Originally posted by kingfunk View PostThe squad is still more than capable of winning our games till the end October.
We'll play Saints, Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Newcastle & WBA before he is due to be back and those are all winnable games with or without Coutinho.
In addition, we can easily slot Alberto, Hendo, Suarez etc. so I'm not overly concerned as long he is back before we face Gunners.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

A curse so terrible it even happens at other grounds.
.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

When Southampton is out of the way it's simply a straight swap of Coutinho for Suarez, Rodgers had a decision to make how he was going to integrate Suarez back into the fold now that decision has essentially been made for him.
Saturday is a different matter, I have a feeling it'll be Aspas with Sterling coming on for the last 20Kurtangled in the McFadden thread 16/01/08

Saturday is a different matter, I have a feeling it'll be enduring a limp display from Aspas with Sterling coming on for the last 20

Runs for cover
We have a better squad this year and quite a few alternatives. Of course it means some tweaks in the way we play, but overall I think we are well equipped to handle a few games without him
And it was/is unrealistic that all our first team players would go through the season without injury, and that's why we have brought in Aspas and Alberto and we still have Ibe, Sterling, Suso around as well.
Oh, and that Suarez fella.
