Thanjk you.

Our stand out performer so far in pre-season I think. Having the Summer off has left him fresh. The onus is on him to perform this season and replace some of the creativity lost since Suarez's departure.
I'm hoping we maul a threadbare Soton team on the opening day and the likes of Coutinho run riot setting the tone for the rest of the season
Wouldn't say there is anything wrong with his final ball, very few players find their target as often as he does with high risk through balls. His shooting does let him down but that should come with time.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
It's bizarre, his technique passing the ball is phenomenal yet he scuffs every single shot. Has to be mainly a mental block for me. He should try passing it into the net instead of blasting it until he gets his confidence up.
A bi improvement on his goal return this season really would be important for us this season given Luis is gone.

His record was roughly 1 goal per 3 starts in the previous two years before last, so he is capable. Hopefully he'll get a couple in pre-season and kick on from there.
We were having similar conversations about Sterling and Suarez not that long ago, so I'm not worried about Coutinho either. Think I predicted 10-15 goals for him this year and I'll stand by it.

we need to send him on a 50 mile minibus drive [100 mile round trip] before our home games, get him used to the travelling and fool him into thinking that every away game is actually at home.
i know this might also back fire, and he then treats all home games as away games...
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
i think there will come a point where it all just clicks for him. Already he is a class act with the ball at his feet. There was a game last season (can't remember against who - think it might have been hull or cardiff at home around xmas time) where he dribbled past about 5 players and fecked his shot up right at the end....... there'll be another point like that where it will go in and the floodgates will open..... I look at someone like Aaron Ramsay who was never prolific, and then it just seemed to click into place. I'm hoping Coutinho has a similar experience.....
To be honest, seeing Coutinho, Sterling and Sturridge next season will be very interesting. And Henderson as well. More will be expected out of them and with Suarez no longer with us, more responsibility will be thrust upon them to make things happen. Also, they will hopefully be able to play their natural game more without Luis shouting for the ball no matter what......
