I was thinking there's no way Coutinho's got that sort of shot in his locker. And it so transpired the shot was going straight to the keeper, albeit at pace. The deflection completely changed the nature of the shot. Don't care though, his world class ability deserved that goal. Lampard made a whole career out of it.

I think its a case none of us believe Coutinho can shoot like that.

I have looked at this many times and I dont believe it took a deflection. There is no change in ball flight and no extra spin on the ball.

Only seeing it taking a deflection on a sideways angle would convince me otherwise
