If we were to get £120m for Phil, we would have to take it. What a massive profit that would be considering what we paid. Isn't that the whole point of us buying young players? It's all about resale value. Otherwise we would start signing ready made players. Since FSG took over it's been about FFP and buying young potential. What's changed? Nowt.
There must be some decent prospects we can pick up that can do a job surely?
Shame we can't loan him for a couple years to barca, get it out of his system and get him back.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

There's nothing. He was supposed be gone last night, then announced this morning. Now I believe people are melting over this.

Almost every player alive, especially the South Americans would want to go to Barca if they came calling. We've got to face facts we are perceived as a level below Barca, Real etc. But that doesn't mean we can be massively successful by making the right decisions and investing big and cleverly.
If coutinho wants to go the club needs to sell him for a ridiculous fee and i think they will.

I find Twitter so difficult to follow any substantial conversation but he appears to be taking the moral highground and stance that calling someone a nonce is much worse than telling someone to hang themselves.Originally posted by labourRed View PostThere's nothing.
