The London set moving to Cumbria to experience the real world, pricing the locals out of their homes, filling the place with artisan bakeries and authentic fishmongers.
Even the chip shops are suffering.Oh I don't know.

Barca have had a long dominant spell, clubs can't get on their level or usurp them if they continue to give in to them or accept that is over as soon as they show interest.
If a club has serious ambition it must change the perception of itself with its actions. If a club starts winning a lot in 10-15 years, LFC or indeed any of the other big English teams could become the pinnacle of a future players career rather than being perceived to be a step or two under Barca or Madrid.
Otherwise the situation stays the same. it will be boring if the game stays at a status quo of Barca Bayern and Madrid dominating.
For Southampton it's the same but just on a different level, can't blame them for hoping for better than a 7-10th place team.
For most South American players, playing for real or Barcelona is the pinnacle

Exactly but it doesn't mean it always has to or always will be.Originally posted by paulc View PostFor most South American players, playing for real or Barcelona is the pinnacle
Humans are fickle, a world in which Manchester city dominate for the next 10-20 years will see a change in that perception. Same goes for LFC.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

I'd say everyone missed the connection given that Bob said he's having Sea Bass, not human liver and fava beans.Originally posted by BG1973 View PostMy reference was to silence of the lambs but it seems too clever or too **** for everyone.

Why i asked really, so a player can only buy out his contract if there's a release clause then.Originally posted by poorscousertommy View PostHow can he with no release clause?
Was a bit confused with the Neymar deal, as PSG offered a price but couldn't buy, but Neymar pays that price himself and it's done.

That only happens in the Spanish club where the release clause has to be made by the player not the buying club. I didn't know that before this season either.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostWhy i asked really, so a player can only buy out his contract if there's a release clause then.
