Not a good sign to be mentioning the owners at this stage

Good. It's about time he started calling out the owners who are getting a far too easy ride. If he was toeing the line picking up over 200K a week I'd accuse him of being part of the problem (which I have been ).

Now just to win over some fans.

I bet he's been told to work with what he has as he's not going to get money unless he sells. Klopp would not have gone into the season with this squad if he had a choice. If the owners don't back him then he'll be off.

But surely the time lines don't overlap? Barca' weren't bidding for Cout' when we bid for Keita.

So far as we're aware they've only tried to sign him because Neymar upped and left.

I don't think he is talking about our owners though.

Start the video from 5 minutes. Judge for yourself what you make of Klopp's comment but I am definitely not fully convinced Coutinho will still be here when the window closes. His comments made me a little uneasy.

I read it the opposite, it sounds like Klopp wants to get rid but the board are not sanctioning the sale.

That's what I mean by it making me uneasy. I think the same as you

I read it as "My bosses have made a decision (not to sell), so it's pointless asking me about it".

Klopp is already on record as saying the approach from Barca is way too late for this window, so I don't see how you can infer that he's being forced to keep a player against his will.

Mmm I'm not a mind reader so I can't really make out what's going on there... Could be construed a few ways. I'll feel a bit better when we get a midfielder or two in though.

I thought his "there's no price at the wrong time" was pretty unequivocal personally.
                        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Either sell him or give Klopp some money to build a competitive squad.
