This is clearly part of FSG's dastardly strategy to cash in on Coutinho.

He signed a new long term deal last year, if he didn't want to be committed to the club he didn't have to sign that deal, players want long term contract security and short term contract flexibility these days. Unfortunately for him he signed the long deal, we aren't strapped for cash, keep him and sell him next year to PSG if he doesn't get back onside.

Remembering English isn't Klopp's first language that could be taken 1 of 2 ways;
1. The medics aren't complaining he's faking
2. The medics aren't complaining he's unfit.

His behaviour is pretty unforgivable. We've been very good for his career. He's been very good for LFC. He's just signed a 5 year deal on a nice wedge and apparently told Klopp early Summer he was staying. It's clear in pre-season that we were building the team around him in this new midfield role.

Now some of this is speculative but this is how he's rewarded us:

- Handed in a transfer request the day before the season started
- Leaked false stories about being mistreated by the club and having issues with Klopp
- Faked injury to avoid playing
- Told us he will never play for the club again.

It's baffling and maddening. All we've ever heard up to this was what a lovely lad and great professional he was.

Yeah I'm sure most of the clubs are complicit in this. I doubt Klopp wants him near the side with that attitude now anyway.

It's just us supporters that get treated like mugs and fed the "injured" nonsense.

As Shaggy said what's the chances of all these unsettled players all picking up injuries? Stop treating us like mugs and just tell us the truth.
