Thats just it - they've actually pocketed far far less as they had to pay Neymar himself £20odd million & his dad earned £30M+ from the deal... plus no doubt there are other clauses & pay outs...Originally posted by spud_gun View PostAh right. Didn't realise that it included add one.
Bit of a cheek given they've just pocketed £200m
F**k them.... not our problemWhat do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

Not joking, but it was a loyalty bonus for signing the previous contract.
Neymar reportedly got €36 and his dad a paltry €26

Dunno mate but it's what has been widely reported....Originally posted by Fivex View PostIf Neymar had to buy out his own contract for £200m to get the deal done, how does his Dad lay claim to anything? Barca didn't want to sell him and didn't accept a bid.
Neymar’s father set to earn huge amounts from PSG & Barcelona in one week
It looks being a phenomenal week for Neymar as he concludes a deal that has already been labelled “the transfer of the century”.
And, whilst Neymar will make headlines across the globe in arguably the most stunning transfer ever, his father is also set to rake it in.
On Saturday evening, with constant rumours about Neymar’s 222 million euro move to PSG, ahead of Real Madrid v Barcelona in the Miami El Clasico, Sport have released sensational numbers about Neymar’s father.
If Sport are to be believed, Neymar Santos Sr. will earn a cool 62 million euros in the coming week.
On Saturday, rumours emerged about Neymar’s “loyalty bonus” that he will receive on Monday.
The agreement for said “loyalty bonus” was made last October when Neymar signed his new contract with a release clause of 222 million euros.
Sport suggest the most ironic “loyalty bonus” of all time will reward Neymar’s father 26 million euros.
For what it’s worth, Neymar has a contract at Barcelona until 2021.
Meanwhile, with Neymar set to actually sign for PSG sometime in the coming week, Neymar Sr. is also due 36 million euros in agent fees.
Neymar Sr. will have bagged 62 million euros without his son even playing in an official match this week (that isn’t a pre-season friendly).
As you might imagine, the Catalan press discuss Neymar Sr. and the morality of receiving the 26 million euros from Barcelona as a “loyalty bonus”.
There are now strong reports – including from The Sunday Times – that PSG even held off activating Neymar’s release clause due to the “loyalty bonus”.
But, Neymar’s father has shown throughout his sons career how he views money and that looks set to be confirmed by one of the most staggering transfers of all time. What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

Seems, you are right:
“There were three conditions: the player must not negotiate his departure from the club during the month before the bonus became payable, he must demonstrate his desire to fulfil his contract, and that we would not pay out the bonus before 1 September, to ensure the transfer window was closed.
“Now that we know that none of these three conditions were met, we will not honour that bonus.”

No matter how you dress this up, Coutinho is now bizarrely overrated by both ourselves and Barca. He's nowhere near the level of Messi or Suarez. Or Iniesta for that matter. I'm sympathetic to what Sounness said - he's not a league winner because we haven't won the league with him. We should take the ****in money. This is a storm in a teacup.Felching ≠ Gerbilling
