Because he has improved every year since joining for us. He is expected to play in what many feel is his best position. He will be playing for his world cup place. He will want to prove a point to Barca and make sure they don't move on to another target.

We clearly have money since we were bidding £70m for Keita so an extra £20m probably isn't going to sway us when we seemed really firm. If the Add ons are more achievable though it could make us think because that is a huge offer.
