Looks like player power is coming to an end - Coutinho, Sanchez, Van Dyck, Lemar, Costa all wanted a move and were denied, contracts starting to mean something again which a good thing.

If we believed twitter, both of these would have happened already and VVD would be looking for a trusted removal company.Originally posted by Bender View PostCouthino still wants to move...as does Lemar to LFC in Jan[Twitter] ....maybe these transfers will still happen. Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.

Just to be clear this is Spain's transfer deadline day not ours. So we would have had no time to use the money this window.Aye, funny that, every time i hear this story mentioned anywhere, all the talk is about Barca's side of the story, they don't say **** all about us denying it, and it being more Barca bull****, and there has been loads of that.Originally posted by MosRay View PostAnd strongly denied by senior club officials too.

Ask the ****ers how that offer was made, and prove it. **** stirring ******s.

Liverpool will seek no apology from the player for asking to leave. They just want him playing again.
If Liverpool had sold Coutinho this summer, symbolically it would have given the impression the club has not moved on.
Mané & Firmino are improving at a rapid pace, they too will be garnering attention from the giants of La Liga in future.
Another factor in Liverpool’s stance with Coutinho was the message it would send to other valuable assets.
