Bump. It's pretty apt that this thread had dropped to the bottom of page 2. We're doing just fine with him out of the side, I'm not bothered if he's he'll bent on going if we get a bumper transfer fee

Just have to hope we play teams like Huddersfield, Maribor and West Ham every week.
When Coutinho inevitably leaves, we'll move on, we always do. To say your not bothered though is baffling, he's a world class talent, a joy to watch and any team would miss him. He's also been excellent this year and keeping him fit could be the difference between a terrible season and a decent season or even a decent season and a great season.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

We've won 1 trophy in 10 years. Maybe constantly selling our best players doesn't really work.
It's difficult to hold on to them when they want to go. Had Torres stayed when Suarez arrived we'd have won the league by 10 points but there was no keeping him. I think we need to be in the position where a single player doesn't make the difference.
