I just don't get the hype with him.

Coutinho is the best player in the league.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He's definitely gone up a level in terms of decision making with the ball.

There was never a second that Pogba was a better midfielder than Coutinho outside of Redcafe. De Bruyne pushed him but got tired doing it, Coutinho has so much more to offer certainly this season.
        One tit for another.

kevin de bruyne is the only one who comes close/is the equivalent.

David Silva for me - Controls the game much more than Couts but doesn't have the same end product. If Couts had Silvas constituency he'd be way ahead iMO

I doubt he'll ever live in Manchester.

I think we just have to hope he gets us Top 4 again this year and we get a truckload of cash for him.

Good chance of both. In fact way united are going at the moment 3rd is back to possible.

Truckload is a dead cert though. No way we'll let him leave cheap.

His attitude has been first class since the window closed. The difference*in attitude between him and vvd is night and day. I get the feeling the latter has down tools.

I just love watching him play. His vision and control is amazing.
Yes he has knuckled down, but I think two of the biggest factors in his form and commitment are that he has some good mates at the club that have helped him, and that it is a World Cup year. He could very possibly be one of the big stars of the tournament and I reckon that has kept him motivated.
Then there is also our style of play that he is so perfectly suited for, and the fans that have never booed him and accepted him back with open arms.

As for VVD, ****e team, far from the best supporters, and no World Cup to look forward to. He probably also realises that he is a few steps ahead of everyone else in the team when it comes to ability.

Possibly. Couple of key differences though; Coutinho isn't returning from a serious injury like VVD had, but more importantly we retained a warmer relationship with Coutinho as a club and a set of fans whilst VVD was heavily ostracised by both.

Let’s just enjoy him for the time we have left with him. Imperious and has blossomed into the genuine world class player he’s been promising to be since he rocked up at L4 all those years ago.

We’ll be looking for a figure approaching the World Record - something north of €150m, has to be.

Not doing bad for another player of ours that can't shoot.

                                Shootinho, eh?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
