I was incredibly frustrated by his shooting in the past. It'd been a good 3 years where he'd take lots of pot shots, and occasionally, a few of them would go flying in.Originally posted by RedReet View PostWhich was dismissed many times by impatient fans.
This season, his whole game has gone up another level. Whether it's because of improvements made, as well as hoping to maintain Barcelona's interest, I'm just going to enjoy him, and hope his performances help us secure Champions League football for another season.

I remember the predictability and frustrations whenever he shot. But there was a reason as we have found out. Without a deadly shot defenders wouldn't come near him around their box making it impossible for him to break their lines. Now they can't just hold back otherwise boom! It's no surprise he dances around in the penalty area nowadays as he's upped his game significantly.Originally posted by Phoenix07 View PostI was incredibly frustrated by his shooting in the past. I am a tad frustrated that we've spent time helping him develop and finally when he's fulfilling all that potential, he wants to go. If he stayed another year, with Keita, and improvements in defence, it would be very interesting. Although Klopp may see Keita as his successor though.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Still has a chance this season of using that potential to lift number six. Now that would be a grand exit.Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostI am a tad frustrated that we've spent time helping him develop and finally when he's fulfilling all that potential, he wants to go. I'm not sure, IMO he lacked consistency somewhat, his shooting was erratic and after injury lay offs he can take a good while to get going again. This season and last he's been growing and adding more goals to his game plus he's taking players on more often as well. I think he can get even better so I can't say he's been fulfilling his potential for the last two years.Originally posted by BG1973 View PostHe’s been fulfiiing it for at least two years.* The above is posted in my opinion.
