It was tongue in cheek, but yes, yes and thrice yes.

We'd be devastating with him playing where Firmy does and Firmy dropping back with more freedom to harry.

Score way way more goals than a GK or DM could ever save

I still don't understand how Barcelona are going to fund this deal. They've got their stadium redevelopment going on, and they spunked on Dembele. They could sell Umtiti, Gomes etc, but it still wouldn't come near the Coutinho valuation. They want Griezmann in the summer too.

If we get in Lemar I'd be glad to **** him off, Lallana is coming back now as well. When he goes we can play a front three of Mane, Salah and Bobby with Lallana, Gini and Can in midfield. Milner, Solanke, Sturridge and a new midfielder could cover us until the summer.
            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Dont forget AOC. Lemar and Boomerang from Dortmund would be a great trade for scroteinho

I don't want to come across as doom and gloom but i disagree. Lemar by all accounts hasn't had a great season and when Monaco were brilliant last year the ones that caught the eye for me were M'bappe and Mendy. Lemar while being a talent I see as an out and out winger at this stage of his career anyway - we're fine there.

There's plenty of bodies mentioned there but the minimum is fourth and we'd struggle to achieve that without Coutinho IMO, look to Everton and Burnley as examples of struggling to break teams down - although admittedly the last fixture was always going to be tough.

Put rashness to one side and keep him to the summer, or let him play in the reserves til the summer before a WC (which he won't).

Signing VVD for that money shocked me , we are dining at the big table now

Klopp has got Keita , VVD , Salah and targeting Goretzka and lemar as well.

If Cout goes expecting us to sign someone big to placate us

I've total trust in our management in coping with losing Coutinho, the players we've identified since Klopp arrived have generally been of a very high quality. We've not signed many duffers.

I'm not bothered if we sign someone 'big', just needs to be someone that is high quality and can work in a couple of offensive positions - has dribbling ability, can spot a pass and works hard for the team - as well as having the capability of scoring goals.

A couple of things we'll be losing when he goes is a player capable of scoring from outside the area and freekicks. VVD by all accounts is a good freekick taker so perhaps he can take over those but we don't have anyone else close to the first team that can hit the target more often than not from 25 yards.

                      Marko Grujić
                      Sadio Mane
                      Loris Karius
                      Joel Matip
                      Ragnar Klavan
                      Georginio Wijnaldum
                      Mohammed Salah
                      Dominic Solanke
                      Andy Robertson
                      Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
                      Virgil van Dijk

That hit rate is very impressive. Could argue at this stage only Grujic hasn't worked out.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

                        Just?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I'd rather keep Coutinho for this season than swap him for anyone

I also see Lemar as a winger rather than a central midfielder. Able to play as a 10 maybe, but which we don't really do anyway
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

I would keep Coutinho and do what Carragher said , deal in place for the summer

Gives us time to sort his replacement ,

But i reckon that is already in the pipeline after last summers goings on.

This smacks of Barca wanting to get him on the cheap as after tearing it up at the WC his value will skyrocket.
