5 months tops and he could leave the club on good(ish) terms and fulfill his ambition to play for Barca. Instead we're facing a situation where he's essentially going to go on strike to push through a move in January. In turn jeopardising the remainder of the season for us. Our push for a top four finish will be seriously undermined and any semi serious notion of lifting the Champions League will be out the window. For what? He's cup tied and can't play for Barca in the Champions League and Barca have all but wrapped up La Liga.
