To be honest I don't care what Klopp or the club say. This potentially could derail our season, couldn't give a **** about his dream or whatever .. no player is bigger than the club and what we are trying to achieve.
LFC sold him mid season & now have put ourselves under massive pressure to find an adequate replacement as we are not going to find a replacement as good. IMO we have put ourselves in a poxy situation at a crucial point of the season. For the last few seasons we have heard about how difficult it is to buy in the January window .... why sell your best player in it then when you know you have to find a replacement in the window you have said is notoriously difficult to buy in!?
IMO there are a two scenarios that will happen:
1) We will get one player in (seems Mahrez or Lemar, Mahrez more likely both good players IMO), over pay for him and obviously neither are as good as Phil which we know already.
Or
2) We will get nobody and Klopp will come out with "Well it's a tough market & we got VVD which is great etc & he will big up our current players". If this happens we are in trouble.
Either scenario is negative. A third and IMO less likely scenario is we will get 2 players in.. that for me is the only way to make up for selling him. Sign two quality players and Phil will be a distant memory. Now would be a good time for Klopp to pull something out of the bag.

Another scenario is that we get no-one in and breeze into second place and finish the champions league with a good run (I've never thought we had a chance of winning it). I do think people over rate Coutinho. Great player yes, but he's not the only one we have. Others will step up - e.g. TAA on free-kicks.Really?
