That's probably the strongest team we could field, I think that set up is perect for big games like this. Coutinho to come on around 75 minsY.N.W.A!!!!!!

I agree. Didn't really expect anything prior to Arsenal and don't really expect anything from this game. We need to go on a run after thoughOriginally posted by dom9 View PostI'm not expecting anything from this game. Let's get over with and get on with building a decent run from the remainder of the fixtures.

I pretty much predicted the last 2 results (in my mind at least). I had a really bad feeling before Oldham, and I thought we'd give Arsenal a real run for their money.Originally posted by Sarb View PostI agree. On the face of it, City and Arsenal away shouldn't present too much variation in the terms of the problems facing us, but City really do need to start winning, and I think they'll be up for this one. They are a better team than Arsenal, and their defence is also not quite as kamikaze. So I think we'll probably lose.Oh I don't know.

I like that 3-5-2. I think it would suit us well, but it depends on whether the players are comfortable with it and if they have worked on it much.
Otherwise, Enrique in for Wisdom as someone said above because Wisdom is really slowing our play down with his first touch and lack of ability/confidence on the ball.
They have no Kolo/Yaya and Kompany is injured at the moment(?) so they are weakened in that regard. Aguero is still injured too, so they will be playing with quite a few out. Although, Silva is playing well again so Lucas will have his hands full.96 Never Forgotten

Aguero isn't injured, he started their last game.
Not a fan of 5-3-2. I don't think we have the right central defenders for it anyway.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

If the worst happens and we end up 10 points behind 4th after this weekend Rodgers needs to drill in to them no quitting on the league season like they did after that Arsenal defeat last year.
10 is a lot and probably a bit much to overturn in what would be 13 games but it's not impossible when we'd have played City, Utd and Arsenal twice and been to Chelsea, Everton and Spurs heck even Swansea and Stoke. Every away game left will be against bottom half teams and the homes against teams around us or a little bit above us. Perfect. And thats worst case anyway, Spurs might drop points at West Brom and we might take something in which case it's well on.
