Anyway, gutted that we dropped 2 points today, not many teams go to the Etihad and outplay city like we did. We had it wrapped up until that mistake.

Good run of games now, should see us pick up some points and make a charge for Everton and Arsenal.
There were 19 in total and from memory its hard to tell, if I was guessing I'd say the 2nd half edged it but don't wanna get your hopes up

Talking of corners, I thought we defended them expertly today.
      Oh I don't know.

We were easily the better team on the day and the progress is clear to see (unless you don't want to).

I was hoping for 4 points from our last 4 league games utd, Norwich, arse & city and we got 5 and could have had 9 and most round here are disappointed.

We need a commanding CB to partner Agger (can we clone Carra?) and then look at improving. We no longer need major changes, improve bits at a time and evolve into the team that it looks like it can be.

        I'm happy tonight.

          Mancini is a moaning cunt.

There was about 45 seconds to a minute after the Dzeko challenge and Garcia has a chance to clear it and gives it straight back to Gerrard.

          Moaning cunt.

The pundits were adamant that we had every right to play on as it wasn't a head injury. He was trying to stop play by being petulant.

Quality goals though. We ragged them and should have won 2-0.

Nothing wrong with him.........replay makes very embarrassing-watching for him I suspect.
You can argue it might be a foul, but hey, its not the first decision to not go a team's way. Plenty of time to defend it for City........maybe Dzeko could even have helped in that regard if he got of his arse.

Liverpool’s 22 shots against @MCFC was the most by an away team at the Etihad in the PL since Arsenal (23) in Sept 2009

We've been unlucky against the top sides this season but I think we've played well in the majority of the games. Gives hope for the future, couple of tweaks in the personnel and I think we're almost there.

We played well but... Gerrard had to score a wonder goal for us to take the lead.

On a couple of occasions we were quite lucky not to concede, two corners I can think of, one of which Maicon headed over.

Other occasions trying to play out of defence and getting away with it.

Our play is starting to become really good on the eye however we're way too soft at the back still and we'll leak good chances every game playing like that.

                        Sturridge was fantastic.

Aguero had a to score a wonder goal for them to equalise.

And Sturridge had to score a wonder goal to give us the lead in the first place. ****ing wonder goals, they shouldn't count, City actually won that game 1-0.

Haven't read the thread but credit to Rodgers for our tactics. Our shape was pretty unusual with Henderson left and Downing/Suarez starting quite deep but it didn't half work

Wouldn't that leave a lot of space between them and fullbacks?
