With Sturridge out we look weak up front, I haven't seen a single thing from Borini so far that makes me think he's LFC quality, need to buy another striker in the Summer I think, Luis can't do everything by himself.
If Borini starts tonight I really hope he can prove me wrong though.

Carra has started against him twice before and he ended up subbed off both times having done **** all. Got a bit of joy when we had 10 men and had given up on the opening day though.

That's right. It was a rough half an hour or so. I'd try and put Agger up against him anyway (assuming they're one up front) and have Carra spare, tidying up.

But I'd rather see cara marking him from set pieces than Agger. Agger's positioning has been pretty questionable quite often this season.

Given the state of our bench for the last few seasons we are now starting to get a bit of squad depth.

Shelvey on is a surprise. I was sure he was going to give Borini a run out, I mean it says a lot when a midfielder gets picked above you in your position.

Aside from that it's a decent side, hopefully Coutinho comes on and cleans up.
