Thanjk you.

I just hate football. Its a **** sport. Roll on the Ashes!
That's how I feel. Football is bringing me nothing but misery lately. Same old same old MISERY. I am in a deeply foul mood that I'm inflicting on my wife and everyone else unfortunate enough to be around me. **** this ****.
Dark days.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
Sadly I agree. Where's his heart gone? He doesn't cajole, encourage or lead. Carra is a more natural leader of men (although he was **** again today) and should be our captain.
I've been saying we've lacked a leader since our days on KT and nothing has happened to change my mind.
However - the buck stops with Rafa for our current situation, not Stevie.
The team lacks pace, lacks width & movement.
Our play is sterile, predictable, cautious and one paced.
Our forwards are isolated.
And the midfield players NEVER EVER go beyond the front men. (note the first 2 goals by Arsenal today came from players running on ahead of the ball)
If Rafa thinks he can win the league like this then he is seriously mistaken.
And the midfield players NEVER EVER go beyond the front men. (note the first 2 goals by Arsenal today came from players running on ahead of the ball)
.
That, in particular, is painfully true.

The problem we have is that NONE of or so-called wide players have played with any flair, confidence or consistency this season, another is injured, and the remaining one is the captain and being played out of position and is in terrible form.
Up front, apart from Kuyt we have no class. We've lost our defensive shield in Momo, and Xabi's form has been patchy at best this season. Add Sami's slowing pace and Carra's poor form, no wonder Reina's got the jitters.
Add to that Rafa's Hollieresque obsession on insisting palying Zenden in central MF...and the picture is complete.
Today's 1st half performace wasn't that bad...but the 2nd half was just abject. Gutless. 17 years and counting........
Did anyone see Steven Gerrard in the second half of the champions league final? Stick it on DVD, it'll cheer you up and prove my point.
He was certainly motivating and cajoling then. THe basic problem is Gerrard is playing out of position and he is not happy. I don't blame him, I'm not happy about it either.
He's a leader he should be in the centre of midfield and then he will lead.

and then we might cool of and have a sensible debate....
i pissed of looking at my team playing with out a heart, pissed of about us not trying, pissed of about getting the chances and not putting the ball in the back of the net, pissed of about ****ing zenden, pissed of about our strikers, pissed of about our defence, pissed of about rafa, for letting this happen.
i want to chop someones ****ing head of, just anybody...
why the **** are we not consistent, lets find something to blame, i think it's lack of motivation, lack of killer instinct....
we should be miles better, we should have fought harder and we could have gotten results, got cheap goals against us and embarrased us it was a ****ing train wreck....
breath....
I think it's the !%$#@# Referee

Not so much blaming but once again in a big, big fixture we see Steven Gerrard do jack ****,
In his proper position or not a player of his ability and stature really ought to have imposed himself more on the game.
Maybe we'll see a bit of Bellamy "influence" soon - ie faking injury to avoid being played out of position. Joking aside, just because Gerrard can play in a number of positions it doesn't mean he should play somewhere different all the time. It can't help if he doesn't know where he's playing or who is team mates are going to be from one game to the next. Simple solution - stick your best player in his most effective position and build the team accordingly. Make changes if/when necessary - not to suit inferior teams tactics so we dance to their tune.
