Tbh, i hate it, because i don't feel like i could give any manager 7 yrs, and i hate the fact utd did.... and it worked out the way it has!
I know Tee mentioned Ferguson at Aberdeen which is what I would have said. Also, AVB at Porto. But Ferguson, in particular, is an exception. Longetivity doesn't gaurantee success, no moreso than short termism. But I have doubts which are based on what BR has done elsewhere and to date here. I just don't think the learning curve should appear so steep for a Liverpool manager. Then again, I'm a firm believer in defence first and foremost

Not necessarily. Lets see how we respond in the last 12 games.

V will need to change his sig now I think.

In all honesty, that game last night has been our trademark for years. We've had games like that time and time again.

It's a hard time to be LFC manager imo.

So much other stuff going on that makes our fans glance jealously at other clubs, and fear for the long term future of our own.

It needs to be a very busy next two years, so many important decsions that we need to get right.

If there is one thing that we can guarantee at Anfield, it is that a team devoid of form or results, can turn their season around here.

It was a resolute performance from WBA and again, we look devoid of ideas when a team sets their stall out to defend. I can't blame Rodgers for his line-up, nor his substitutions, we just had too many players suffer a drop in form on the same day.

                    Extremely frustrating.

Not just Anfield - we saw it at Oldham too. 1 point from 27 - beat us!

It seems to have been the same for years. Teams who can't buy a win, strikers who can't buy a goal - simply come and play us and your ills will be cured!

Also, all this "special win at Anfield" bollocks. Is there a team who hasn't won at Anfield in the last decade? West Brom have won two out of two at our place

Nearly every game at home for the last couple of years seems to have marked some new record and never in our favour.

if results continue like this then i don't think br is the man to take us forward,we have a good squad which should be doing a lot better............lets see how the rest of the season pans out

I think we possibly need to look at bringing in a specialist defensive coach in. Someone to do, ironically, the type of job Steve Clarke did for us under Kenny. If we get the right person in to help out in that area we could improve leaps and bounds IMO.

the best bit was when Bishop went to take his pen, fowler stood back, and as bishop pulled his leg back to kick the ball, fowler just clipped bishops ankle, causing him to kick his own leg, miss the ball and fall flat on his face

Whilst I'm thinking on, Agger was clearly at fault for the first goal and afforded Lukaku too much space for the second, could Reina have done anything with the actual shot?

Granted, it seemed to find the inch of space between his thigh, arm and chest - but it wasn't exactly nestling in the corner?
