Our league record just sums up our inconsistency this season. W9, D9, L8.

Enrique is well annoying, you see him play perfect long passes up the line or cross field to Suarez then he wont be able to pass 5 yards next time he gets it or dwells on the ball for about a minute and gets tackled. And that moment he just slowly walked to get the ball for the throw in when it was 0-0 with 20mins left was infuriating.

'He dwells on the ball' just sums him up for me. When he is bad he really is bad, but then he can be quite decent as well. Definitely a position we need to buy this summer IMO.

He's dozy, we have too many ****ing dozy players. Not enough brains in the side. And I love Johnson but he played last night like he'd been doing bongs before the match.

Liverpool s 9 wins in 26 is their worst in PL at this stage since 92-93. Harsh truth is this season no better than last so far.

We've been in transition for four years

                          Longest 'transition period' ever.

For what it's worth, last night's starting XI contained no Rodgers signings - not one. All Kenny/Rafa players.

                          Reina - Rafa
                          Johnson - Rafa
                          Carragher - N/A
                          Agger - Rafa
                          Enrique - Kenny
                          Lucas - Rafa
                          Gerrard - N/A
                          Henderson - Kenny
                          Downing - Kenny
                          Shelvey - Rafa
                          Suarez - Kenny

Borini + Allen = £26m on the bench. Assaidi, nowhere to be seen.

agree with the dozy comments - so many times players seem to switch off! it's bizarre - i know it's a ****ty thing to say, and i am not having a cheap pop at rodgers here, but there is no ****ing way, with our squad, would we be in this position if Alex Ferguson was our manager.

now granted, there are not many managers out there like him, that's why i said i am not using this as a dig at rodgers, but you just know that ferguson would have this squad competeing at the top of the table.

Johnson last night - time and time again got down the right into a position, square with their defender, and literally just ran into him and lost the ball - it was playground stuff - i don't know what the **** he was thinking, it was like when baros used to just get his head down and run to the corner flag, just clueless. Which was more frustrating because it's unusual for johnson, plus he's a top experienced player, i don't know why after 15 attempts at doing this it didn't ****ing register and he thought hmm running straight into this guy doesn't work, i'll try get to the goal line and whip it in, or i'll gut back to make some space for myself and find a pass inside......nope....i'll just continue to run straight into him

i doubt that. the squad is not good enough yet to compete at the top end, regardless of you is at the helm.
would ferguson do better than rodgers? no simple answer to that i'm afraid.

I had a bad feeling just before the game started because Suarez did not touch the Anfield sign in the tunnel on his way out. Done my nut in that did and I have gone right off him.

On a side note respect to Youssuf Mulumbu who was walking down the tunnel alongside Suarez and did touch the sign.
