Oh I didn't notice. Too ****ing far away to see their faces.

Wouldn't it be great to have a football app for Google Glasses that allows you to see the game like FIFA with player names and stats on demand that hover over them?

Great pic Shaggy. I was just below the blue progressive sign. What a night. What a crowd.

That YNWA at the start was absolutely wonderful

You got to see Stevie score

I just hope we managed to show our Club & our team the high regard in which we hold them. Everyone I met yesterday was absolutely buzzing to see the Club in Oz. even expat seasoned veterans were pumped for this.

That brought me to tears. That's really something isn't it.

Yeah have to agree. The only song some knew was Steve Gerrard. Sung it about 10-15 times I'd say.

In a stadium where we sang YNWA someone seemingly did.

It's an amazing song and you feel the history, heartache and achievements of the club as you sing.

Hi guys, it's the afternoon after the night before and I'm suffering the worst type of hangover. No alcohol induced one but the worst where you've had the time of your life and now it's all gone. It started on the plane from sydney Where the whole flight was full of reds. Melbourne was teeming with the fans. Big meet up at federation square where we all had dreams and songs to sing. YNWA was brilliant. Only issue was once the game started people were asking us to sit down. WTF ??? Two hours of their life that they'll not experience again and they want you to sit and listen. Managed to stand at the back with similar like minded ones and had a blast. Yes there were a number of expat scousers but mainly Aussies. Gotta love you expats just down to earth funny decent people. Met many great friends I'll never see again. laughed and sung about everything... Love youse all.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

Sums it up. I've been out & about Melbourne again today & been talking to heaps of ppl who were there & everyone had the time of their lives. Melbourne is still painted Red today as everyone's still kitted out & wearing it with pride. Don't want this exp to end.
