I said the mentality of excusing 1 player for missing all of our chances because other players aren't good enough is small time, and I stand by that.

Our best player, by miles, missed great chances and you don't seem to think it cost us? It's one of them, I can't even say its opinion, it was there to see for everyone. Yes we have other problems but why does that mean Suarez is free from criticism? If Downing missed those chance would you say he didn't cost us?
