Exactly - as dodgy as Borini has been at times, at least he's got the movement of a centre forward, and would have given their defence more to worry about. Sterling needs to be well away from the first team for a bit too. Would do him good to go back to dominating at reserve level and get a bit of swagger back, as he's playing like the young kid he is at the moment.

I never said i expected us to chase the league. I also didn't expect to get knocked out the league cup at the first attempt, neither did i expect us to get knocked out of the cup to a league 1 relegation team.

I would be happy with a EL place but even that looks like a hard ask.

With Arsenal when 1 player is out missing, the player that comes in has the same role basically and the set up doesn't change. It's players to fit a formation and game plan, we're not there by a long shot. Yet.
We're a couple of windows away from that though. Too many square pegs for round holes at the moment. In fact we're a few pegs short for the number of holes we've got too.

Allen has been a shocking signing. Imo sterling ain't ready to be a regular.. Even consider loaning him out next season if he continues like this.

Suarez just had an absolute mare.. He's been outstanding so he can be forgiven for having few bad games.

It's very draining watching us play

Too many average players/downgrades over the years. Keep getting money but we've been **** in the transfer market for like 4 years now. Until that changes we'll stay the same or get worse via other teams doing good business.

By my reckoning that's the first time Suarez has put in successive stinkers. He had a mare but there's no way I'll be giving him any stick.

Rodgers said before the game that he was setting up defensively to avoid defeat.

We Invited pressure onto ourselves and tried to get Suarez away on the break, yeah you could blame Suarez for not finishing one of his chances, but the blame can not be placed just on him. The lack of support he had when going forward was staggering. At one point we tools corner and only had 3 people in the area.

Relying on Suarez alone to get us through was a naive tactic, and when it was obvious Sterling was struggling (his inability to track back lead to one of the goals) it should have been changed.

A very tough game on a harsh pitch, I'd have definitely took 1-0 before kick off even 2-1, I think 2-0 is a difficult ask though.

                      Three things:

                      1) ****e pitch
                      2) Suarez missed some very good chances
                      3) I thought Henderson had a mare

Rodgers calling that "a near on perfect away performances bar the first 5-10 minutes" won't do him any favours.
