    Ashamed

For the first time I can ever recall I switched a liverpool game off midway through. After the second goal went in I just about had enough and turned the winamp off. I was feeling very positive before the game but after the first 56mins depression set in and it had to go.

A sad sad day because I thought we were inseparable. Now its just a game.

I did the same after the Mancs scored their 2nd goal against us. First time for me. My husband was so shocked

But, there will be a moment that will turn it back round for you and you'll be inseparable again. I willfully tried to stop supporting during the spice boys era but it just wouldn't happen. Its a lifetime commitment I'm afraid.

I know what you mean but actually it is just a game.

                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Losing 3-0 in such a limp, spineless manner to a side we are supposedly as good as, IS disgrace, in my opinion.

Spot on, its not the score, its the manner in which it came about.

I came in at around midnight after having been to the remenbrance parade and after parade sherry. I had to watch the game through one eye at 90 degrees to the TV as I was unbelievably drunk. I didn't know the score. I watched the game and despite my extreme inebriation I was so angry that I didn't fall asleep in front of the TV. rather I went out into the garden and "howled at the moon" according to my neighbour also a mad red. We stayed talking over the fence and drinking brandy until 2 and both agreed that there would have been no shame in turning off that load of ****e. It is Ironic that after a day spent with defiant old soldiers that my beloved team should surrender so meekly.

Ashamed - especially coming so soon after the no show at OT.

                              Get a ****ing grip reds.
