Agreed, I think taking Joe Allen off was fine but Henderson has much more passion and drive (oh and talent)

Shelvey must be sold in the summer. He will probably blaim the fans again.

Brendan gets the kudos for setting up the team well but the subs definitely affected us, especially Henderson.

Shelvey, Sterling - too much inexperience when chasing the game. Shelvey was awful but he is a young lad put in a pressure cooker situation. He should not have been on the pitch.

The first game was part of a bad patch of form, let's ignore the 5 goal win from the last game.

Was a decent performance to tonight, we couldn't put 4 past a team that was in the CL. No shame in that at all.

Sterling does nothing and looks scared of the ball and when he has, he just wants rid. When he can't get rid of it he usually loses it. Looks a shadow of the player we saw in the first few games.

If we had 11 players with Luis' attitude and desire we would be alright.

                  Henderson was playing really well.

His pass for Enrique was superb.

2 really inexperienced players coming on into that kind of situation is risky as it is. But we didn't look like we were getting tired at all so it could have been held til later, add the fact we'd just scored as well! Stupid move.

This game sums up this team pretty well IMO. Making stupid mistakes, capable of some brilliant moves, almost getting the result, but just almost.

Enrique was looking really confident tonight I thought

Rolling his foot over the ball, taking players on, getting forward - he looked like the man

                            We come not to play.

It's looking like Carra's decision to hang up his boots is the right one. Not a pop at him just think he'll only have more moments like that in the future & I'd hate to see him remembered for things like that.

The way he conceded posession when pepe was out of his goal was very niave. He's just another promising young player, nothing more at the moment.
