I did watch the match. In an attacking sense, he didn't show up.

His corners on the whole were poor and his attacking play in general was not there tonight. Best thing he did for us tonight going forward was letting Suarez take the 2nd free kick. Didn't think he had a poor game but on nights like tonight you almost expect a 'Gerrard performance'

How is one opinion quantified over the other Alex? I'd point to the lack of consistency and lack of involvement in any competition, our position in the table and points acquired. What would you use to prove progress other than we look like we pass the ball about better?

You do understand it takes time to build a squad and to get things right, from the mess that was the last few seasons it's not really a massive shock is it that to improve and get back is going to take a little bit of time.

Of course we all want it to suddenly be brilliant but it doesn't work that way.

Rafa shouldn't been sacked after his first bad season and Rodgers shouldn't be sacked after this season even if it is very bad.

Every manager except the bacon loving one should be allowed to prove that he can improve the team and get it right after a bad season.

Nah, he needs to be nurtured, and should have been played less. He started the season superbly, he was always going to fade away. No matter what he does from now on Sterling has had an impressive debut season.

Disagree mate, think Shelvey,Sterling & Suso would hugely benefit from loan moves. But i agree Sterling was massively overplayed at the start of the season & done the best he could.
