I've only been to Anfield 3 times & I think the CL match v Boavista was the loudest I've heard tbh. The other 2 matches were Norwich & wolves so the expectation was we'd win quite easily so that may have had a bearing on it.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I sometimes wonder if it's not the sort of thing SOS ought to encourage rather than some of their other tedious meddling.

I don't know about ever but it's a good point.

When LFCTV first came along and started showing old matches I was surprised that lots of games seemed to be lacking in crowd noise contrary to what I remembered or imagined.

            Yes, good point.
            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Don't SOS have their own singing section on the kop?
                Oh I don't know.

Thats maybe because of generation loss in those old recordings?
The pitches weren't surrounded with so many microphones in pre Sky days either.

Good fockin point.......cunts in the crowd shout make some fockin noise - if it turned 2 home draws into wins (I think it'd be more) then that could potentially make a huge difference

The cunt next to me the other night was more interested in getting some fockin photos than supporting the team

And some cocksucker behind me thought he was Andy fockin Gray - running fockin commentary!!! "Out to Henderson now.....well done Joe......go on Stevie push push........Luis you're dropping too deep.........go on Glen bomb on" - ****in asshole I hope he fell down the stairs on the way out......

That's not a nice thing to wish on anyone, Frank. Poor Lec.

Rather than watching the game. It sounds like you were also too pre-occupied with things going on around you

No I was giving my all cheering man - just couldn't help but notice the 2 knobs....

My point overall is that if supporters supported maybe it would help the players play!!!

At the end of the day though, it's the same in every football ground up and down the country, since fockin ticket prices have increased exponentially over the last 20 years, the prawn fockin sandwich cunts have ****ed it up

Yeah maybe, but then again on film the ground wasn't always as full as I remember either. Even in the really good days.

I'm sure you were cheering When I go to matches, I normally can't speak properly for a day or two after. I took my daughter and wife to one game. I could see they were looking at me like I was a complete stranger. Singing, ranting and raging
