    Defence

The attack has/is being addressed over the last couple of transfer windows.

Seeing as Carra is retiring and Skrtel and Agger aren't as commanding as we might wish, who would you like to see come in during the close season to bring leadership and coherence to the back line (or do you think we have that already)???

      Papadopolous would be ideal

Not familiar with him. Who does he play for, how old?

          Schalke, 21.

          He will be great.

I'm not sure who we should bring in, but with Carragher retiring and Coates looking like he could be moved I think we need to focus on the defence in this window and I think we'll need to bring in a couple of new centre backs
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

A centre back pairing of Stefan de Vrij and Alex Pearce will be the future.

I'm sure we'll bring the right players in in the summer. Our attacking line is sorted out.

We'll need at least 2 centre backs coming in - one to come in as a partner for Agger and another to really push them, I'm not sure what to make of the Skrtel situation but it is looking like his days are numbered as well, being kept out of the side by a guy that is retiring doesn't bode well for him.

Hardly seen any of Papadopoulos so couldn't really comment on him.

Know much more about Amorebieta who while he'll never be a world beater is usually rock solid, aggressive, comfortable in a team who play out from the back....just the type or CB we need IMO. Isn't he out of contract this summer?

I'm hoping that Carra's inclusion is sentimentality and aimed at getting him a few more games. Seems unlikely though

BR doesn't really seem that sort of guy to me, I think he's playing him as he's doing more than Skrtel.

I think it's what he says it is....the vocal/organisational thing. I've always thought that stuff was a bit exaggerated but it's Brendan's prerogative. With Carra packing in and Coates with no future, it seems risky to marginalise and piss off Skrtel. 3 CBs in one summer is too much upheaval.

I agree why I wonder if he's earmarked someone in the squad already to step up as a CB i.e. Kelly. Bit of a risk if that is the case but if he doesn't see a future for Skrtel as first choice then I can't imagine he'll want to stay with us anyway
