Ruddock wouldn't get close enough to kick him.

If he didn't he'd be a bail hopper. sorry.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

          Quietly confident about this one.

If our back line can stay strong then I fancy Suarez, Coutinho and Sturridge to cause them all sorts of problems.

Agree also that it'd be an idea to play two holding midfielders.

Nope. Think he scored one with his right foot this season....but generally his right foot is hopeless.

Need wily old Carra to stay one step ahead of Bale, in the head at least.

Suarez, Sturridge and Coutinho should keep their mids and defenders plenty occupied leaving little support for Bale. Lets see what plan B Spurs have. Dembele out will hurt them and Bale.

Dembele's injury is described as 'not serious'....though I don't know if he'll make Sunday.

I'm not optimistic about this game at all and I expect the usual script - tons of possession, chances but get picked off on the counter and lose 2-0.

Must say another loss or failure to win in a game v top 4 contenders would feel to me like a massive kick in the guts. A win is vital.

If we play with the confidence and directness that we have done in recent weeks, then I think we could dick them... but we've had this momentum going into big games before and seemingly forget what the hell to do.

If we keep up this recent trend of taking our chances I think we'll win. If we waste too many chances I too can see if getting picked off on the counter attack and drawing/losing.

Also agree with Shaggy that we badly need to prove we can beat a decent side, not just dispatch the cannon fodder.

Yep, a win here would really add some meat on the recent run of great results and show we have taken a big step forward. Pivotal moment in the season for us.

Yes it is because the rest of our games are winnable.

Could draw level with Everton, get closer to Arsenal too.

Big game for us, certainly winnable for us though. We must put the right team out defensively to deal with Bale and to a lesser extent Lennon who's pace will also be a worry.

Henderson should be starting this for his energy imo and I'd also like to see Skrtel come in for Carra.

3 points here would certainly put the pressure on Everton and Arsenal ahead of us.
