I was Torres in the previous poll just because he literally lit up Anfield like no other since the likes of Barnes etc.

However, Luis is just a ridiculously good player and really there is no comparison with Torres right now.

Such a crying shame Luis played in such a poor Liverpool in comparison, which makes his performances even more amazing.

Cannot vote on this. Pure confusion.

I think in Suarez though we're seeing a truly world class player with bundles of ability, brought for a bargain fee. Just because he is Suarez he isn't getting the praise he deserves from the media. No one comes close to him in this league, not even Bale

luis for me although I would love to celebrate one of his goals like I celebrated the torres one in the champions league against the arse at home
Oh I say his vision there was lovely

He's the better player already, on so many levels but the least superficial one would be that when things aren't going his way - Luis goes looking for the ball and tries to make something happen, Nando just used to stand there and wait for it to come to him.

At their peak, both were clinical finishers but Luis work out wide, deep and off the ball make him a far better player both individually and for any team.

Finally voted Suarez... Agree with all those who say he's a better footballer - behind Messi and Ronaldo only - but there were goals that Torres got for us that were amazing... Early shots that he had no right to score with from unexpected places... Suarez will far outlast Torres' golden spell anyway wherever he is. To have sen Suarez with Torres in that Rafa/Alonso team... **** me we were close to something great.

Last season I'd have said Torres, but now it's no contest, Suarez everytime, he is also on an upward curve, is built like a brick and works his socks off with a never say die attitude, my perfect player.

Everytime I think yep its Suarez that debut Torres goal v Chelsea comes back into my mind (still my fave one). What a goalscorer he was....and then I think of some of those goals that season, the buzz there was around the club also, unbelievable.

Ben Haim still hasn't worked out where he is.

Torres was an awesome striker for us, unbelievable. But Suarez is a truly world class player. I actually rate him in the Top 5 players in the world. Probably 3rd behind Messi and Ronaldo. I think he has a lot more talent, skill and ability than what we've seen at the moment
The reason we didn't win the title was down to the manager.

Torres for me I'm afraid. And I look to stand alone in this.
