Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Don't know why but I read that in a Bruce Forsyth voice.

However the original comment was 9 points off third. This was followed by someone saying yeah, but we've played a game more then them (spurs), which we haven't.
                  Forwards.......

Yeah, realised what he meant after . Although I think Dom meant we also still have to overtake 2 other teams who do have a game in hand.

I'm surprised his name hasn't appeared in this thread amongst those who've been criticised as he was one of the worst performers yesterday
What on earth would the point be in criticising Carra? Firstly, for the first time this season, we just beat a team above us in the league. We hadn't managed to do that before with him in or out of the side. Secondly, it is pretty debatable whether he was remotely at fault for either goal. Thirdly, Skrtel is injured and Coates is crap, so we really don't have any other options. And lastly, well in case anyone missed it, he's retiring in 9 games time. Which makes any effort taken to point out his deficiencies nowadays a total waste of time and effort.

Nobody is suggesting he is the long term solution, but Rodgers obviously feels he is contributing something to the side at the moment and given our recent decent run of results in the league it is hard to argue with that. As rcasemore just said, he's our best option at the moment. That's about all there is to it.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among

And at least he jumps up to try and header the ball coming into the box from set pieces. Johnson and Agger just seem to try and roll the attacker. Pretty poor. Carra has been good since coming back into the side and we've looked a lot more solid from open play
