Every player, no matter what the result should acknowledge their travelling fans for spending a ****load of money on their team and backing them all over the country.

The thing that ****ed me off the most was the fact Gerrard went straight to Henry and fabregas and his other arsenal buddies to say well done, hug, lick their arses but he didn't even look at us lot. I think Jamie was too embarressed to come near us, cause to be fair JC never normally ignores us.

I love Gerrard as a player, got his name on the back of our home top, got his DVD, got his Autobiography etc but i'm not really to fond of Steven Gerrard the person, seems a bit up his own arse to me, bit cold on it as well.

Contrast that to Carra who a great player on the pitch and off it(what we see/hear anyway), comes across as down to earth and friendly, always time for the fans, no airs or graces.

Fair enough but like Jacko said Carra would usually come over to the away end, Gerrard however i've seen many a time just trudge down the tunnel after an away match.

i get it sometimes when he strolles straight in to the dressing room cause he can't face the crowd and is to dissapointed with him self, but if he can stay on the pitch to shake henry's hand and have a laugh he sure can pay his respect to the away fans...

he didn't look like he was laghing to me. he looked gutted and did what any sprtsman does and shakes hands and says well done. it happens every week up and down the country. that doesn't excuse the fact that he didn't pay his repsects to the travelling support. perhaps he felt that after a perfomance like that he couldn't face them.
