12 March 2013 6.30pm: Live FA Youth Cup

Steve Cooper's Academy starlets are in action on Tuesday night when they take on Hull City in the FA Youth Cup quarter-final at the KC Stadium - a game you can watch live on LFC TV and online from 6.30pm GMT.

The young Reds have so far beaten Swindon Town, Histon and Leeds United to reach the quarter-final stage.

However, Hull City have lost only twice all season and will go into the game with confidence after a good victory over Leicester City in the previous round.

Our live coverage on LFC TV starts at 6.30pm. Join Claire Rourke alongside former Reds Gary Gillespie and Neil Mellor at the KC Stadium. Kick-off is at 7pm.

LFC TV Online subscribers will be able to watch an embedded version of the match live.

    Come on Reds!
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Tough going here - Hull are very well organised. We're camping around their box but they are looking pretty resilient. They'll probably score on the break - I've seen this story before...

0-1 to us. I was making a cup of tea so don't know how or who.

Don't worry - I've been outmanouvered in my bid for the normal telly so am making do with this instead. Trickett-Smith should have scored there, beat the defender on the turn with only the keeper to beat but his one-footedness undid him and the moment went.

Dunn scores again - made by the brilliant(ly named) Rossiter - lucky with the rebound off the keeper but slots it in nicely. 0-3.

Excellent, are they playing decent enough then? How is Ibe?

Ibe and Dunn are playing really well. Ibe in particular is very comfortable on the ball, strong and has a good turn of pace - very impressive.

Match opened up after we scored which suited us a lot better.
