Another thing I don't get is that Henderson can't get near the team at the moment. He was doing well and is made for this type of away game simply for his workrate and physical presence.

We have serious confidence issues, if we don't score the first goal we struggle in games. They scored first and we didn't look like the team we've been in recent weeks.

Regarding Allen, if he has this injury and it is affecting his game we shouldn't play him, and he should have the operation he needs now. This would mean that he could have a full pre-season and be ready for next season, and lets face it this season is a write off.

The defence needs sorting out in the summer, we need someone who can organise the defence and tell people what to do. I don't think Jones helps the back four, despite his performance yesterday being ok (he wasn't to blame for any of the goals) but it's clear that he lacks confidence and the defence/team lack confidence in him.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Totally agree. It's very strange. He's done nothing wrong and can't get a sniff again.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Arbeloa was very steady like that Frank.
          3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Henderson should be ahead of Allen on current form.

The problem is that it isn't exactly the first time he made a big mistake like that. Without Lucas we have no balance at all in midfield.

I actually think that Sturridge could go with a game or two on the bench.....could be a serious impact player and also doesn't seem to be 100% fit....

In reality, things aren't as good as we all thought after beating Spurs......and things aren't as bad as we all think now.....it's somewhere in between!!!

We were lucky to beat Spurs, many said it, just as we were unlucky not to beat City twice, Everton and at least draw with Man United. We were terrible against Villa and excellent against Norwich.

It's easy to go overboard when we win and when we lose. We're improving but inexperienced as a team (and in the manager probably too) and lacking good enough cover in a few areas. It seems to me that's the most likely reason for why we're so maddeningly inconsistent.
                      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I mowed the lawn and hung a set of curtains today. The wife thinks I'm great. **** yesterday's result, just get on with your day and look forward to the next thrilling instalment!

                            But:
                            1. I haven't got a lawn.
                            2. Or a lawn mower (see 1).
                            3. Or a wife.
                            .

Henderson has played in an advanced role for us though, it could just be that he isn't suited to a deeper role.
