As we've done many times over the years, I seem to remember sitting through many 90 minutes games of utter crack under previous managers.

We didn't score today and could have played better up its a rebuilding phase after the utterly awful previous 3 seasons.

In those I'd imagine we'd have ended up losing this

I thought we'd score. As bad nil nils go, it wasn't that devoid of entertainment.

It wasn't outstanding though

Our problem today was the final third...none of our attackers clicked, everything seemed a either a little too long or a little miss-placed!

It was a big hole between the defense and midfield and that left Lucas alone many times to defend the midfield.

When one of Gerrard or Henderson attack then the other must stay back and when one defends then the other one attacks.

Many times you could see both Gerrard and Henderson attacking and many times both back defending when only one needed to defend.

That is unorganized.

Arn is bang on about the huge gap between midfield and defence with Lucas being isolated. It's a problem Rodgers has not been able to get right for most of the season if truth be told.

if they were from the lfc womens team, i wouldn't say i "missed" them particularly....

Arn is bang on about the huge gap between midfield and defence with Lucas being isolated. It's a problem Rodgers has not been able to get right for most of the season if truth be told.

I doubt that it is Rodgers fault or the system. Rodgers is a very good manager so he must know about that problem.

I think that it is down to Gerrard being to eager to attack and not holding his position when he must do it.

Gerrard should have played behind the striker(Sturridge) today. Suarez on the right and Coutinho on the left.

It shouldn't happen at all. I could understand if it happened the first months of the season but not at the end of the season.

It's not as simple as that, sometimes we need both back (as well as Lucas), sometime both can go forward, it's just about getting the balance right and seeing what other players are doing.

Hate to say but in games like this I wonder if throwing on a player like AC would have been a decent plan B for us this season.

Couldn't have done much worse than the others and it would allow the wingers and full backs the option of putting the ball in the box rather than trying to be too intricate on the edge of the box all the time.

I got slated for suggesting Carroll as a Plan B.
