That said I wouldnt be massively adverse to taking Williams if he was on the cheap and back up to another quality signing for the centrehalf position

We need 2 CBs this summer as its likely Skrtel is going to be off as well.

I'd take Williams as 3rd choice (replace Skrtel) but then its who else we could realistically get in AND suits the style of football we want to play, looking around the PL there are very few options at the moment.

To be honest, not seen a lot of Williams. What I did read on him is that he isn't a talker or organiser. I found that a bit odd because that doesn't lend itself to being captain of your team or national team (even if his national team is Wales).

Having just signed a new deal they won't be under pressure to sell on the cheap either.

It's never been too bad an option to look at the Nordics for CBs.
