the lack of continuity at this club is what is criminal. managers may come and go but the scouting team need to be the clubs assets, not chopped and changed with each new manager.
i know we have gone through some major upheaval but this really needs to be sorted. maybe a few lads on the board to help advise in direction, lads who have done it all.removing all the weak links makes us stronger

Thing is if the manager for instance doesn't rate the scouts or who is being recommended why would you keep them? It's important that the management team and scouts are on the same page. The requirements and intricacy will change from manager to manager, hopefully we can get some continuity in the management structure and we'll see the benefits this summer and beyond.Comment

As long as the manager have the final say when we sign up scouts then I'm happy.
He must get in the scouts that is excellent judging the type of players the manager want.
If he want skillful players then the scouts must be excellent judging that. If he want players that is excellent in the air then we must have scouts that is excellent judging that.Stop the cyberhate
from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a

i know it'll end up being the managers decision, but the scouts should be doing the leg work, sourcing potential prospects, watching them, compiling profiles of what type of player they are, personal life [dont need any more boozers, etc] and then update the manager with the info.
the manager will be looking for anyone who will improve the team, and the scouts will be aware of what the manager is looking for.removing all the weak links makes us stronger

I'm sure there are reports on players available to Rodgers et al thing is if there is little belief in the people who'd done the job why would you put any stock in it ? ( these guys are likely from the Bodge & Kennys time). In fact anyone advising on players to the Bodge and Kenny shouldn't be listened to!
Anyway it seems we've got the scouting department we want in place now and I am sure we'll see the benefits.Comment
