How many games the last seasons have our players not turned up? Even our Captain admitted that they didn't turn up in a few games.
Agreed & considering we went out of all the cups relatively early, we should've ended up at least 6th in the league this season. For the squad we have, there is no excuse to finish any lower imo...
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

A whole place though. We're not even six and a halfth.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

think youre missing the point which is Everton are mentally tougher and can roll the sleeves up when needed and scrap for their lives in every department. we just don't have that and it has resulted in dropped points and exit from cups

And you're blaming the manager for the players' lack of mental toughness (if that's what it is). Brilliant.

The same Everton that choked at home to Wigan in the cup. Choked against us last year in the Semi final and and have not won away against Utd, LFC, Chelsea or Arsenal under Moyes.

We have issues but aiming to be Everton should not be one of our goals.

I think you're missing the point, BR has had less than one season to mould this squad whereas Moyes has had 11 or so years to get it right.

We have finished 7th, 6th & 8th the past 3 seasons and have multiple players come and go as well as we're now on our 4th manager in that time & who also has to use a number of players that weren't good enough previously, changing this takes time and was always going to take longer than this season.

So the comparison at present is daft at best.

Apparently there's a well-established scale of mental toughness (the Mohs scale is based on it), with unambiguous measurements for each Premier League squad and it's universally acknowledged that a manager should take exactly 94.547 days to develop us from where we are now (talc = 1) to Everton (diamond = 10).

But David Moyes is a "winner", as Sky reliably informed us.

No. of trophies Moyes has won at Everton = 0

Fergie likes him therefore he's a "winner"
