Parking around Anfield

Anyone know any good car parks on match days near to the ground?

I got tickets for the QPR game and will be driving up.

I used to park behind the petrol station (Texaco I think) on Priory Rd but last couple of times I have been, I have been unable to get it there.

Want to avoid the area's where the little scallies will "mind yer car, mate"

Any advice please?

Just park a good 10 minute walk away. Somewhere over the far side of the cemetery near Queens Drive is good, makes for an easier drive out of town as well.

Park on Abingdon Road just off Utting Avenue, next to the big Asda. 10-15 minute walk to the ground and usually makes for a straightforward getaway too. Piece of piss.

there is a very good car park in the new college - £5, very secure, always has space

we usually park a bit further away, it's more of walk, but it means u can jump in your car and get away easier - the closer to the ground you are the more traffic you get stuck in

yeah it's ok there, can be a bit slow to get out - we use it when my dad is driving (because he is always late ) if we parked in our usual spot it's about 15 minute walk and would miss kick off, so we go in there.

if not there, we go further away down Heyworth street and turn the car round to face back the way we came.

best place to park really depends on where you are coming from/going back to after the match

The closer to Queens Drive the better really. Easier to get away after the game, and generally less scallies

I park in the Dockers Club on Townsend Lane. Only thing is, you have to be there at least an hour before KO as it fills up pretty quick.
