We'd get absolutely hammered if we play that team. Too many inexperienced players in the team

      Lucas
      Coady

      Coutinho
      Sturridge
      Suso

      Bench:

Jones, Sama, Skrtel, Shelvey, Downing, Ibe, Sinclair

Johnson needs a time-out, we already know what Skrtel can do in the middle of the park and Coates is surplus to requirements, so why waste a spot on the bench? Our midfield is low on options, but Shelvey just looks like a man possessed at the moment. I know Rodgers has asked him to step up and replace Gerrard, so I'm sure we'll see him in the first eleven, but I'd use this nothing game to see if Coady can step up his game.

Suso and Countinho excites me and I'd very much like to see their quick feet and vision causing Fulham a mischief. Sturridge gets another opportunity to lead from the front and an option from the bench to see our youff players get some first team minutes if the performance or result dictates.
I'd be surprised to put it mildly if that side runs out. Wisdom at RB maybe, Suso also a maybe but that's it.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

        I dunno, I don't think it's *that* inexperienced.

Carragher supporting McLaughlin, Enrique supporting Wisdom; Lucas and Henderson assisting Coady and Suso getting some more minutes. It's a small gamble, we've pretty much got seventh in the bag and after our nil-nil with Everton, sixth is a task - Fulham will be booking their summer holidays and playing players who may want to stake a claim for their future at the club, it might be enough to make it interesting.

        I certainly don't think we'd get hammered.

I would too. It's the team I'd want to see, but I think Rodgers will most certainly play the same back five as Everton and Newcastle, with Skrtel replacing Agger. Shelvey will come in alongside Henderson and Lucas and I imagine Sturridge will be flanked by Downing and Coutinho.

Blimey. Rapid progression for this kid. Might not actually be in the squad but still.

It would be nice if we could use the last few games to develop some players. In an ideal world at least one of the new players we need for next season would come from internal developments.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Shelvey and Skrtel in for Gerrard and Agger, otherwise unchanged, according to the Twitterati.

Predictable and a bit of a shame really.

A bit of composure from Shelvey today would be nice.

                        What position does he play?

                          Big strapping centre half.

Speculations are Skrtel is injured and that Coates will start.

Skrtel has reused to play!!11! It's a conspiracy.

Still, I'd go with Wisdom in the centre instead of Coates.
