Look, it's plain to see that we just don't have enough quality in the side. Our signings haven't improved the 1st team. It's the same side from last season, minus Suarez. I don't understand how people expect anything out of this group of players.

It's a friendly, its always good to win but as long as we take something out of the game in terms of what we need to work on and getting players gelling together then its no big deal.

I think we should stop wasting money on 3rd choice strikers and 5th choice central midfielders. That would be one thing we should work on.

If we do buy Sissokho he should go straight into the first team as Enrique is utterly clueless in the opposition half.

Agree with this, our problems appear the to be exactly the same as last year. Toure looks a good player, I think Aspas will be useful as well but apart from that we haven't done anything at all. Said it months ago that the players we were linked with are not a massive step up and not many tended to agree then, maybe they still don't obviously time will tell but my mind is unchanged.

I'd like to see a bit more creativity and goals come into the side which is what I guess HM was for, happy with the 4 signings so far and I do expect a few more to come in.

The 2nd half of last season we were good and on the pace with the top four, I think with a couple of additions to come straight in then we can continue with that and kick on
